ABOUT US

Hopefully you read the first page.  Like with most young men, my father was a major influence growing up.   He worked as a criminal defense attorney  during my formative years into my college years.

My Father was one of those people who found purpose helping people, and he'd always buy you a cup of coffee at the Four Winds cafe nestled in Carrizozo, NM.  He always had a joke at hand and card tricks if he had a deck of cards handy.

He was one of those country lawyers who knew everyone in town and, in turn,  was loved by everyone in town.  He would never turn away a client.  He helped people who couldn't afford his fees.  Growing up, we had cars and animals, usually from clients.   I remember one time, My dad agreed to take a neighbors' case.  Our neighbor couldn't pay as he was unemployed at the time and their family was not doing well at the time.  So, he took the case for the price of one chicken.  That is the type of person he was.  He passed that quality down to us children.

If you come into our office, you will see his smiling face on a portrait hanging on the wall.   He has since passed on, but his belief in people, that we all have our flaws, but we are not beyond redemption, does live on.
